Caorle, VENEZIA Festival del Viaggiatore comes to Villaggio San Francesco
From 25 to 27 September 2026, Villaggio San Francesco hosts a special stop of the 12th edition of Festival del Viaggiatore. BiHoliday and Villaggio San Francesco are partners in the initiative, together with InArtEventi and the Confederazione Italiana Campeggiatori, for an event dedicated to travel, culture and touring tourism in the setting of Caorle.

Festival del Viaggiatore is a travelling series of stories, experiences and shared moments that moves through some of Veneto’s most significant places. In 2026, the central theme is “Revolution”: an invitation to keep thinking and imagine new possibilities, putting people, culture, places and relationships at the heart of the journey.

The Festival meets the world of motorhome travellers
From 25 to 27 September 2026, Villaggio San Francesco becomes a special stop of Festival del Viaggiatore. Through Villaggio San Francesco, BiHoliday is a partner in the initiative together with InArtEventi and the Confederazione Italiana Campeggiatori, in a project that brings the Festival into the world of touring tourism and highlights Caorle as a meeting place for travel, culture and the local area.
The three-day programme is dedicated to participants in the Confederation rally, with selected events also open to external visitors, subject to availability.

Stay at the Village during the Festival: for those taking part in the National Rally of the Confederazione Italiana Campeggiatori, the programme and accommodation booking are available through the official Federcampeggio channel. A way to experience the 25–27 September stop directly at Villaggio San Francesco and take part in the Festival experience in Caorle.

Festival del Viaggiatore at the Venice International Film Festival
The 2026 journey of Festival del Viaggiatore begins with an event on the Venice Lido, at the Regione del Veneto – Veneto Film Commission space at Hotel Excelsior, as part of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
The Festival del Viaggiatore project is presented here by Festival directors Emanuela Cananzi and Giulia Cananzi, together with writer Giovanna Zucca. BiHoliday takes part as a partner, strengthening the connection between the Festival, the Veneto region and the Caorle stop at Villaggio San Francesco.
Two events also open to external visitors
The Caorle stop is mainly dedicated to rally participants from the Confederazione Italiana Campeggiatori. The two events highlighted below are also open to external visitors, subject to availability.
Jane Austen and the revolution of kindness
Writer Giovanna Zucca talks with Emanuela Cananzi, artistic director of the Festival. A conversation between literature and private life dedicated to the Austenian revolution. After the Promenade, Regency-costume dancing begins, followed by a picnic tea by the sea.
The philosophy of lasagna
Vito, aka Stefano Bicocchi, comedian, talks with journalist Marco Giovenco. An ironic look at everyday acts of rebellion: from television excesses to conformity and ostentation. And not only at the dinner table.

From the Venice Lido to Feltre, Festival del Viaggiatore travels across Veneto with a widespread calendar of meetings, conversations and experiences. Each stop inhabits a different place and creates a cultural itinerary connecting places, people and stories.
